"Call" Kelvin to fix when he's stuck
I believe I posted an idea of calling Kelvin like in Red Dead Redemption you can whistle for your horse. But of course, when I played the game again I slapped my forehead: Kelvin is deaf. But the need for "calling" Kelvin from a distance is great, because the landscape is so diverse, Kelvin could get stuck.

For instance, he fell into the water in one of my games. He started walking on the bottom of the lake waiting for orders. Sometimes he'd try to get out and you hear splashes as if he was drowning. But he could not get out at all. Stuck. Forever.

So maybe it's a big request, I dunno. But why not give him some vibrating device that you can trigger with your GPS or something? When that triggers, Kelvin is explained to come to you immediately. No matter where he is. So if he is stuck, then he just appears from behind a tree or something. In Red Dead Redemption this works the same.

If the idea sucks, sure. But please make some improvements so that Kelvin can not ever get stuck anymore.

There is actually a way to get Kelvin back. I found it by accident really as I left him to go collect rocks and then forgot about him. Oops. What I did was make a new bed and then slept to skip to morning. When daylight came back there he was, still collecting rocks like a dope near my new bed. Good luck!
