first off the controls arent regular movement controls. you dont HOLD buttons to fly. you only tap them to change direction and take off you tap the forward button for half a second at most. if you hold it down you nosedive and crash. same as first game.
the 1st and 2nd part are terrian issues and for some reason devs decided this thing should become MORE sensible to be dropped which is just.... plain stupid i have to say. they gotta fix that one for certain. the one in the first game wasnt dropped this easyly compared.
walking this thing up a hill is harder than actually takeing off and flying for a longass time..
but it works great.
sadly there is some bad news aswell : you cannot hold it while useing a zipline like you could before. this allowed ziplines to act as launchers for it to proppel it forward a bit to gain speed faster.
it works without that still but why they took that out is beyond me.
check first games glider and youll learn why.
you never needed any towers to fly around the map with that thing back in the first game. you just needed to use the terrian correctly to take off. then you could fly anywhere.
the only thing that never was a good idea was to fly trough the trees of course. but thats just logical.
towers where never needed if you know which way to fly tough.
lmao, this game has been out for 2 weeks, and this is their first major update. Get over yourself.
Figured out how to control the glider and flew from one side of the island to the other!
Would've been nice if the devs had included a note on which controls to use!!
I've played for 80 hours and completed the game twice. The constant attacks by respawning enemies that i've killed several times over is what i don't like. The rest of the game is great.
So No i won't "Get over myself"
if you really believe this is the games current biggest problem i dont know what to tell besides to raise your standards for whats acceptable for a game.
this game is still a foundation. and nothing more as of yet. this patch was merely a small first step in the right direction but this game has ALONG way left to go before it will actually be a good game as of now.
