FOV fishlens?
Hello, i wanted to ask the dev's if that was intentional but the FOV at the edges of the screen zoom in, i realized it when i happened to watch my hut and when my hut was at the edge of the screen it was far closer compared to when i watch it directly while being on the center of the screen.

It feels like some sort of fishlens which personally i find it unrealistic and perhaps can cause a bit of motion sickness. I would like to know if others also noticed it and if they know anything about it that can fix that like in the settings.

I did notice Fisheye FOV feeling since this new update. I didnt really notice it before. I ended up reducing my FOV from 95 -> 90 which did help a little. Hopefully this will get fixed.

Yeah the FOV stretches funny at the extremes. Not really a good workaround in this engine, at least they gave us an adjustment for it.

All FOVs do that. That is because of math. Reduce the FOV and you get a flatter projection. Increase it and you get fish eye.

In Apex legends which i also play with a higher FOV i haven't seen that happening that's why i found it strange when i saw it, currently i have it at 90 and if i am correct the default is 80.

Not the expert but even shadows can cause motion sickness and with its advanced lighting system i ended up turning the shadows low cause it was giving me a headache with the constant light change from the sun rays on and off.
