What does the repair tool do?
I've used the repair tool on a floor segment, which caused the floor to partially disappear. Now I can't repair the damaged area with a new log and I'm left with a hole in the floor of my cabin. I get an icon displayed at the bottom of my screen when I try to place a new log. it shows a broken read beam.

What's going on here?

It's meant to fix structures that are damaged from attacks. It won't put logs back if you cut them out on accident.

It was left clicking on the floor with the repair tool, which removed the logs to begin with. it created a hole in the floor and no new floor can be placed.

The supports around it could be damaged. That's what the broken red log means. That could be what's preventing you from fixing it. You might have to take apart what you can to find what's broken. It won't let you pull up a broken beam or plank.

You must have messed up crafting it and ended up making the "destroy" tool, instead of the repair tool.
