Is it possible to bring GPS closer to your face?

A bit difficult for me to see the GPS from the current default position. Also can't read the time or other info it displays on the top of it. Is there a command or bind that I've missed that brings the GPS closer? Thanks.

Is it your vision or your setup? Because it should not be hard at all to read the time etc on the gps. If you are talking about the map you can actually zoom in/zoom out by middle mouse clicking. The mini map in the bottom right corner is also great for finding things that are pretty close such as those purple gps markers.

Hi. I have the middle mouse button set as the GPS zoom but the text on top is completely unreadable. Have watched some YouTube guides and see the creators bringing the GPS closer but not sure if they are just zooming in while editing.

Whenever I play, I equip a small weapon (axe, machete, etc.) in the other hand so it stays persistently in place while running about. Other than that, I've had no issues reading the GPS.

Probably not the answer you were looking for but it's helped me not have to aim down all the time to look at the GPS.

The GPS is (only slightly) bigger if you ONLY have it equipped, no axe or spear just the GPS alone

I personally don't like looking down just to see the whole GPS, that's why I equip a item in my other hand so it stays static.

you can press the middle mousebutton ( the wheel ) for zoom in and out ( press not roll )

Found the issue. Was running Custom Graphics settings and had a few AMD Driver Timeout crashes. My Texture Resolution setting under the Graphics Option tab was set to Medium. Must have reset it myself somehow. Back to Full and GPS Text and Window nice and clear now.
