Kelvin Gets Stuck.

In a world i was playing with my friend in, Kelvin was following me, got scared by some of those guys that crawl on all fours, and ran away. i assumed he would go back to following me after i killed them, which I think he did. however...

He somehow fell into a river. and can't get out. the pathing wont let him walk to the other side, and he isn't swimming. He's standing underwater. after some careful positioning i was able to give him instructions, at first i told him to clear 5 meters, which the pathing didn't correct itself, so i instead tried to have him follow me again, and swam to the other side. he didnt follow. I tried killing him, but he doesn't despawn and respawn so no fix. and i cant push him. Hes just standing. underwater. and now hes in a position where i cant give him any more instructions. and there are no console commands.

HOW DO I GET HIM OUT?

if the water is shallow enough you can try making stairs other wise try telling him to follow you enter and exit cave he tends to show up near the exit of the cave when i play everytime

Yeah, I decided to swim across a lake, and eventually said "Where's Kelvin?" He was stuck at the bottom of the lake walking into a rock. I threw him a hand grenade and went back to my base.

We already made a new world when i saw this, and he had a full footish of water above his head when standing. idk if stairs would have reached, or even how to make them... if he gets stuck again ill try the cave thing.

Run far enough away and he will respawn near you

just try entering a cave we had kelvin follow us from one side of the island to the other but he popped up in front of the cave we exited
