The game wouldn't let me revive kelvin and now hes dead. Why

I found out the stupid way that kelvin does NOT respawn. And by stupid I mean he got downed, I ran to revive him. And I couldn't, so I lost kelvin and I couldn't even revive him.

This is why I always have 3-4 different save slots per playthrough in games. each time I save over the oldest one. If you do that just reload one of your previous saves from before he died

But there are workarounds (=cheats) to revive him

Just now this happened to me, and I got all the items n tools before base building....
Well I'm not gonna play until raid system fixed because its not fun atm...

I was a fool and only ran off one save. Rookie mistake
