My friend is experiencing graphic bugs and earrape noises
I didn't play the game for a single time since it's release because the game is broken for my friend. Pls fix or I refund.

Make sure motherboard BIOS is on the latest full release version.
Make sure audio drivers for motherboard and up to date.
Make sure Windows is up to date.
There's an audio setting in the game options you can turn down from 128. I believe it's called voice count. It also impacts the bitrate. Users have reported turning this down has improved the ear-rape issue with sounds.

As for the graphic issues, will need to know what they are and your friend's system specs. It would be easiest if your friend was here to report on this to avoid any paraphrasing and miscommunication from taking the troubleshooting steps from here to your friend.

Knowing his system specs would be more helpful.
Everything else would be like reading from the crystal ball.

What a detailed bugreport.

He has:
AMD FX(tm)-8300 Eight-Core Processor 3.30 GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
RAM 16GB

Hmm.. That CPU doesn't even meet the minimum requirement. It's over a decade old. Could cause problems.

I guess you got your answer then.
While his GPU should to be still sufficient for the game, his CPU situation is... not that promising...

an AMD FX 8300 is menawhile 11 years old.
It's got only 8MB L3 cache and can only adress slow DDR3 RAM.
It used to be a great CPU, but meanwhile too slow for a game like this.

Considering the game is very CPU intense and demanding even for modern CPUs,
It's "F" for his system, I'm afraid.

He could try running the game on lowest settings, in order to take some burden from the CPU. Maybe even try FSR.

But if he want's to play modern games, he should upgrade to AM4 at least,
Since AM4 is EoL (but still very good), there's good chance for good deals now.

But why don't you play this game then?
Is your friend's name Swim by any chance? ;-)

That FX-8300 isn't that bad of a CPU but it is old AF. It'll definitely have lower performance compared to more recent models. But I think more so you just have a total system bottleneck, not just a CPU bottleneck with those specs. Your friend has DDR3 memory which is slow. As much as a system can still game relatively decently with a lot of games into recent years, it's at the point now where new titles are just beyond what it can do CPU wise, memory wise, and combining these limitations, I can't recommend continuing to play on an FX-8100 or FX-8300 with DDR3 memory if you play new games.

Could be..
But one day there will ALWAYS be the one game starting to reveal the limits of your hardware.
Seems for your friend it's been SoTF.

"works on any other game but this" has never been a valid reason.

Again, that FX-8300 is dated. I recently upgraded from an FX-8100 last February because that was the point of that CPU. Developers could no longer optimize for that old architecture without nerfing game mechanics due to how much more demanding they are getting. There's still a handful of newer games that work on that PC with the FX-8100, but at substantially lower performance. The architecture is just too dated for modern features. And with how the new lighting render systems and parallel processing tasks are being designed, anything that uses ray tracing or lumens will cripple that CPU. And we aren't far off from RT and Lumens from being standard in games. Without making these changes, new hardware won't be properly utilized (30 series nVidia and 6000 series Radeon cards still have a lot of new game potential left untapped) as these new render features and parallel processing tasks are the most optimized way to go for current era and future era hardware.

Something as old as the FX series, it's time to shelf it. Be happy that the CPU lasted as long as it did, cause in a lot of games it still competes with most newer CPUs.
