Accidentaly made hole in floor and can't fill in!

So yeah, accidentally cut square hole into floorboards and can't seem to fin a way to fill it in.. (similar to like how you make doors and windows)...

Remove logs holding C (first shortly tap to see you are aimed at correct log, crouch if needed) which has the hole and put new logs instead.

I tried that but it doesn't seem to work. I previously "filled in" a window in the same way and it worked fine but now neither the window nor accidental floor hole seem to fill in. I hoped maybe someone else had the same issue and fixed it taking away a certain piece or something. Maybe when I reload into the game it will work!

Destroy the floor with an axe
btw save first so it maybe doesnt destroy the whole house

I also knocked a hole in my floor, wasn't able to remove 5 floor planks, I believe I was only able to do so after I removed the adjacent door frame.

yesss this saved my house i just removed the door frame and it worked thanks alot
