Can kelvin die in MP?

Hey so im no longer sure if kelvin can actually be killed by mutants in MP? I have my base in island and because kelvin cant cross hes stuck at the shore looking and taking all the beating from canibals. At first i was always rushin to save him but now it seems that he just revives himself after being downed and just runs away... is this normal? PS sorry for bad english.

pretty sure enemies can't kill kelvin
only player actions can

Im asking because on the internet it says this "Yes, Kelvin can die in Sons of the Forest. He can either be killed by cannibals or mutants, or by the player" So i was wondering mabe my game is somewhat gliched for me but now i think he can only die by mutants in Singleplayer?

Well for me with playing with my friend friend once i accidentally blew him up with a grenade and he died without being able to revive but my friend shot Kelvins dead body in the head with a bow and he suddenly just came back to life and then died again because i had another grenade

Yes, definitely. Players can kill Kelvin, enemies can kill Kelvin and thanks to devs oopsie now even saving and loading your game can kill Kelvin.

It is funny because I almost never see him alive .
And he can't be revived, not sure if reloading even helps as on my regular servers he is still dead. .

You cant revive him ingame, but there are instructions how to do it via tampering with save files. However in my case it resulted in total failure with game deleting both his body and (still alive and well) virginia from all saves from that playthrough - even from those made before he died.
