Controls stop working
Just started playing and have run into an issue twice. It doesn't even feel like a bug, it feels like I just don't understand something about the controls but I cannot figure it out.

It first happened when I built the tarp shelter and didn't realize it would auto-equip a stick when you click on the corner of a tarp, so I placed tarp and then went to inv and equipped stick, then build shelter. After putting up the two sticks, I could not use any weapon keybinds, open inventory, open guide, open gps, or unequip item. I was able to gather items and anything else with with the onscreen message to press E to do. I kept getting the overlay for placing the broken stick on the ground for fire, but nothing I pressed would prepare a fire either. It went away after I ran around gathering things with "E".

Second time, I was collecting items at the modern axe camp and the same lack of controls happened. This time the place fire overlay doesn't appear, but something else that I think is the overlay that happens if you equip a small rock (hard to describe, white "splash" overlay on the ground, switching to trajectory arc if I pan mouse up).

Anyone know what the hell I'm talking about?

Edit: Went back to game after posting and this is def. a bug. I was able to break the second time by eating blueberries off a bush, but my right hand froze like it was pressing a button on my gps. I was able to open inv and equipped axe from there. After closing inventory, all the same controls still don't work and my guy has the base of the axe handle in his palm, like if you were to balance an axe straight up and down on your palm, but were able to rotate your wrist 90 degrees so the axe was horizontal and defying gravity.

Same here, controls froze up my first two sessions playing. Will try a PS4 controller next time if I ever get over the heartbreak and confusion
