when was the last time you updated your Nvidia drivers? use GeForce Experience to re-calibrate even.

Make sure to say what resolution you are trying to play at as well just to get a good comparison. I get about 70-100 on high at 1440p with or without DLSS for some reason. Even on max settings it never utilizes the CPU or GPU fully either.

What settings do you play on and find ''OK'' ?

1080 and i'm running just fine on high settings at 1440. I suspect driver related.

3060 here at 1440p, mostly high. 70-116fps. Replace nvngx_dlss.dll with a newer one (the one Endnight packages with the game is from 2021). For the most part it is fine but rarely there might be some slight artefacts - the only one I get is ghosting trailing behind Virginia when she's running in the distance.

The version I'm using is from Atomic Heart as it's pretty much the latest one out there: https://www.techpowerup.com/download/nvidia-dlss-dll/. Back up the original. You should also ensure your drivers are up to date. Check if your gpu has a bios update (I had to update mine to get resizable bar working in another game).

thanks for the comment my ram was installed wrong and overclock my gpu a bit runs so smooth now same with every other game lmao

the same problem, 60-70 fps.
Hardware:
Ryzen 5600x + 3080ti + 16gb de ram.
running 1440, dlss not effect.

If OP is having 40 FPS, then smt's wrong with his setup, be it his computer hardware or his other software.
