Make bone armor less expensive
In The Forest bone armor was the best armor in the beginning because it only required bones. Now you need bones, duct tape and rope so there is no point of it because creepy armor is easier to get and is better.

Duct tape seems just as plentiful as bones and so is rope to a lesser extent. I've seen so many crates full of duct tape and rope is in caves, villages, and other random locations. Plus all that stuff respawns when you load a save.

My personal opinion of creepy armor is that is that it seems too plentiful. I thought it was supposed to be more protective because you cut it off of the tough mutants. Letting you skin even the pale cannibals for it feels like a nerf to me because it's plentiful but now protects less.

I always think of armor as, I have these in case I don't have those. Yes, creepy armor is great, but having 10 sets of bone armor as plan B is better than nothing.

Also, the backpack organizing system is useless now that Hotkeys are in. That's something the devs should update.

yeah, until you realize the game offers infinite resources of any kind just by reloading your game. Because this is a feature and not a bug.

OR OR how about replace rope with wire and let me carry one more ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bone.

It's the rope that's a pain in the butt, you can't carry that many. I'd prefer they remove rope from the recipe. Or increase the amount of rope we can carry.

Overall, depending on where you go, the rope is fairly plentiful. Despite that, I feel like it should take half the rope to make one piece of bone armor. Getting into fractions is a bit tricky, but it'd be nice if you laid in double the bones and tape, that one rope would cover yielding 2. Length of rope needed to strap a piece of armor on is a lot shorter than one to climb to a 2nd story roof or the 1 needed for an ultra long zipline.

Friend of mine would be thrilled to see wire be the new thing though as we've got several shelves that are just loaded full of that.

I kinda like it. Feels like the kinda jank you would get in older games, and remembering older games before modern gaming made the majority of the medium totally suck, makes me happy, so I appreciate that it has something that feels like old game jank.

Plus, its really easy to just not exploit that, if you don't want to.
