Virginia not keeping her Gun

Hello, I wanted to ask if someone have the same issue. I give her a weapon, and after like idk couple of minutes I see nothing in her Hand and see it’s back in my inventory. She do shoots couple of enemy’s but not for long and she drops the gun again. I also noticed it’s mostly when I for example have a „weapon“ myself in my hand, like when I was getting some logs and she saw me, suddenly she don’t have a gun anymore. But yea it’s not only bc of that, but it keeps happening. I read somewhere else that someone could find a solution in MP when someone else gave her a gun she keeps it, but I play it in Singleplayer so I didn’t find a solution to this.

Easy solution I already posted several times: Giving Virginia a gun (Shotgun or Pistol) makes it loose all the attachments that was on it so you have to find them again. To avoid it, dismantle the gun completely before give it to her.
After you gave her a gun, save the game and restart it completely, because if you not do it, the gun will pop in your inventory after you choose something from the backpack and she loose it this way. Get the same gun yourself again (no matter where you found it) to have one for yourself again.
