Virginia bug - Virginia won't come back to main base

Virginia has been befriended, given a GPS, pistol and shotgun --- i have even swapped out her clothes, but, she still won't follow me, she won't even follow Kelvin -- I have cycled through 6 consecutive sleeps, verified game files etc --- and still, she will not follow --- I did accidentally hit Virginia with an axe before she was befriended ( to defend her from meanies)--- Virginia is at the moment a hindrance to my game play --- does anyone know of a fix ( other than start a new game )

There's a fix involving editing your SaveData to teleport her to Kelvin, I did this once and she hasn't wandered away again.

We had this problem, but she came back eventually after more or less a real day.

in my case, she stayed away from the base for over 10 days. the fix posted by Moddable worked

I'm having the same bug, I figured that changing her position will work for short time but it is just a work around, she still wanders off and dont come back for some reason

i had the same problem and found an odd fix, bring Kelvin to her she follows him i guess (i dont know how she normally acts) i just did this and shes currently following us home

I had this. I located her via GPS and it seems she was in a fight with like 5 or more mutant/cannibals (my guess was she was prob kept getting caught in a knocked down loop). I killed them all and escorted her back to the base. that's what a nice guy would do. i also tipped my fedora and gave her a "m'lady".

I wish there was a fix to make my lighter re-appear in my inventory cause its gone.

I think that after you gain her trust you should be able to give her commands like with Kelvin. It's so furstrating to play depending on a bugged AI.

We don't really know if it's a bug but on the other hand she does have the ability to lead you to items so her not following might indeed be a bug. Some real info would be nice.

I applied the fix that Moddable posted, and yes, she will still do her own thing --- BUT, when she is not following, what I do is to go to her, put my weapons away --- she will then usually offer food (sometimes take you to a POI --- if she dances, then watch her ---- if she offers food, simply collect the food that she has offered) ---- this will usually fix the issue (until the next time, then rinse and repeat ----- as a side note , i put up a tent/shelter in my base and planted every type of seed I had ----- but, either way I look at it, she is bugged, possibly by me hitting her with an axe before she befriended me

You just are not applying the correct brand of cologne.

In our game she has been leading to the same campsite. Actually she is leading there in my SP as well, because I have base nearby so, I've been checking that area myself. It's nearby to hanged man GPS, has 2 tents, few cases with C4, flares, energetic drinks, blue tapes and other usual stuff. Oh and a dead body in little pool of water.

That’s the same location that my Virginia is big at.
