I was expanding my base and came up with some pretty cool builds. The first one was by accident and the second one I haven't found a use for it yet.

The first build introduces diagonal logs that come to a point. Planks that were originally placed on the frame become stretched but don't fill gaps. To fill the gaps I removed the planks and put them back down. Also, you can build an entire base in the sky from a single 4-square frame on the ground. I realized this when I was putting supports on the 2nd and 3rd stories of my house. I didn't include a picture of it, but I'm using it as a simple way to stand over my defensive wall and shoot down cannibals below me.
