Legacy Building Toggle

Hey guys,

I just wanted to share my thoughts on the new custom building system in Sons of the Forest. While I think it's a cool addition, I can't help but feel that it's a little overwhelming and confusing compared to the old blueprint system in The Forest.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the effort to create a more immersive and creative building experience. But for me, building in The Forest was straightforward and easy to understand. I didn't have to worry about modular parts or complicated building techniques - I could just create structures quickly and efficiently using the blueprint system.

I know some players love the new custom building system and find it more enjoyable, but for those of us who prefer a more traditional building approach, it would be great if the developers could create a toggle for legacy mode building. This way, players can choose to use the old blueprint system instead of the new custom building system, without feeling left behind or missing out on new features.

What do you guys think? Do you prefer the new custom building system, or do you miss the old blueprint system like me? Let's share our thoughts and see if we can convince the developers to create a toggle for legacy mode building.

Hi!

If you open the book (B key I think) an later you use the "X" Key If I don't remember bad, you can build like in the forest.

You can switch to the blueprint mode. To do so, open the book and hold a assigned key. For me it's 'X' on keyboard (by default). You can see a tip next to the book in your hand saying you can toggle blueprint mode.

The op is talking about the forest building style where you can see the image of what you are trying to build and then fill it in. Holding the x button to switch the book only gives smaller buildings. in sons.

No, instead of implementing the old stuff they should finetune the new stuff. Fix Bugs and add new additions in Form of Decoration and all.

The new building system wouldn't be so overwhelming when it wasn't so buggy. And also If it hadn't These Strange regulation. Because, it's not as free as everyone Say's.

And give us a settings to deactivate These annoying Animations ..
