Giving Virginia Clothes

I fully admit I could be just 100% stupid on this, but I have googled around and found no videos on how to do this so here I am! I've got several items of clothes already and heard you can change Virginia's outfit. When I interact with her, though, none of the clothes items show up in the card-portfolio like thing you can select from. Are there certain clothes she just won't take or am I being dumb?

Yes, there are specific clothing items that only show up when you interact with her and not in your inventory.

She only accepts her own clothes (A flower dress, sports wear and some more).

Her different apparel is scattered about the map. I've personally only seen what she is wearing and a floral pants suit ... or are they pyjamas (pajamas for the American grammar nazis), I can't remember

Maybe the clothes you've found are for you only? (in inventory Bottom right)

Or they are for Kelvin.

I found some army pants that i could put on Virginia, but those were horrible.
