FIX THE DEFENCE GATE AND WALL.
spam this stupid msg all over the discussion board... im sick of this crud... this is the less mean post... that is nicer... and Clearly needs fixed.

Hum... this post was created after the wall... was posted...

Secondly... do i look like I care? I'm clearly losing my mind while being attacked by natives all the time... so maybe i am losing my health? currently am... dying...

It might seem like a small detail, but being able to create and lock a gate in a defensive wall is kind of the entire point of the defensive wall in the first place.

There is only one point of entry or egress and you control it .. all that effort collecting the logs, building the wall, making the tops all spiky is entirely meaningless without the control of the single weak point in it .. which is the gate.

How do you get Kelvin to get on platform? then? to fish? or anythin really?

It gets worse when you find out that you can't even build a gate. :)

The only workaround is to make a Cabin doorway .. which cannot be locked, and through which cannibals easily and quite happily enter.

You may as well just leave a big empty gap in your 'defensive wall'.

Litterly marking this as the answer, to why i made so many posts... also the wall post is now buried again... :\ so... ya... this game needs a fix for the walls.

The community has found ways to lock doors form the enemy's but noway ima give you the easy info you could find on your own.

The doorway can be blocked and managed. Check my profile for the screenshots I went through the effort to get for OP 30 minutes ago.

A solution I've found is building either very tall regular walls or the lookout towers and then having a rope on each side. With the lookout tower you can build it as part of the defensive wall, cut a hole in the top platform's overhang, and hang a rope down on the outside.
