"Click on the three dots next to your library folder to bring up the Settings context menu. From here, click on the Repair Folder option. Click Yes if prompted by the User Account Control (UAC) to give Steam permissions for restoring the files."
I did try to fix from the first commenter, and looked like it was working. But it re-updated and paused at the end again.
The directions were kind of unclear, so if anyone wants to try it: Top left of steam, click view, then settings, then downloads, then steam library folders, then click on the drive with your games, find game, check the box, then 3 little dots button on right of window, then repair folder.
Neither that, integrity check, or fresh install seemed to work. Annoying that I cant click the play button, but thanks for letting me know it still works from the folder!!
I did that before trying to launch from the folder, so it may have worked for me that way.
The play button is still stuck on Resume, 4 days later, for me. So not sure what is going on.
