Trees NOT respawning

So ive been playing the game with my friends for a few days now and we live in the same area since we started and NONE of the trees have respawned (yes the stumps are there)

it might cause some problems. like if you had a base where a tree was previously standing it might spawn in the house and that stuff you know. but a solution to that might be that the trees will only regrow if there is a stump left.

In the first The Forest it was working when stumps were there here it doesnt

The original game allowed you to turn on the option for trees to respawn. It doesn't seem possible right now, don't know if that's intentional or not (I hope not).

In the meantime you can download a tiny file that you can drop into your game. It's just a copy of the original landscape settings which means that once you replace your current one with this downloaded one all the trees will be restored to their original state before you started chopping. If you've built anything there's a good chance trees will be growing through them now, just cut them again and you'll be fine. This file doesn't appear to change anything else in the game, it just puts the trees back.

trees don't grow back from stumps. They grow from twig saplings that turn into giant trees after awhile.

This game should be renamed to, Sons Of Deforest.

Yeah im kinda running out of trees and kelvin cant reach them i never saw any grow even tho i saw a lot of bushes like that and they never changed
