Dedicated Server App ID

Is there already an App ID for the SOTF Dedicated Server? I would like to preinstall to start the server on early access release. I did not find anything on SteamDB, only TF Dedicated Server https://steamdb.info/app/556450/ .

I've attempted to contact the devs a a few times over last month for the app ID so we can prep, but still ain't heard back. They haven't even confirmed if DS will even be released on launch. Could be p2p via client for a while first. Hopefully this isn't the case tho.

So far I only found a tutorial that seems to just be a clone of a tutorial for The Forest and therefore doesn't work. Maybe we are lucky and it will be updated after the release https://xgamingserver.com/blog/how-to-set-up-a-dedicated-server-for-sons-of-the-forest/

If they only provide a windows version of the server software, as they did with The Forest, there is a Linux tutorial for the dedicated server of The Forest that might help us to get SOTF servers running on Linux https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1423538141

Dev's haven't confirmed if there is going to be any DS files yet. Not to much longer and we'll find out, they'll either ship another app ID for the DS files or the Client files may come with a headless run option. Personally I'm hoping the former.

Alot of hosting companies will put up pages for 'pre-order' but not even they know if the DS files are going to be released, they even do it to games like Dead By Daylight, it's just click bait.

Sometimes they even sell that right to a big hosting-company, to get money out of hosting servers back for game-development.
