How long is the game?

I am hoping this game isn't as short as The Forest was, you can speed run it in like 15 minutes and without speed running maybe a couple hours. There was never a need to build a base, have gardens, set up defences, it was more of an option for people.

I am hoping that we are forced to go through all 4 Seasons they claim are in the game in order to beat the game some how. I'd like there to be a reason to actually build defences, I never had to in the forest, as long as your moving and exploring your fine even on Hard.

probably very long, they said the map is 4x bigger than the first game

Most people only spent building anyway. It was the life of the game and it's why people have a lot of hours on it

The game doesnt hold your hand
It's up to you how you play the game want to beat the story go ahead

But this game isn't really all about the story

It's up to you how you would like to play the game want to build a base sure go ahead want to just survive and explore sure you can do that

But yea how long the game is depends on you how you like to play and beat the game

If you want to be forced to build and go through the seasons before you can do the story then its up to you to force yourself to do that

the previous game was also Sandbox, and figuring out how to progress in the Story without looking a guide on the internet will guarantee you 50 hours of gameplay

if there is a new game like this people will find a way to speedrun it glitchless. itll happen no matter what.

if you rush you can probaly finish this game quickly aswell. it really depends on how many KEYITEMS you truely actually are required to find first. since nobody knows this detail nobody can actually answer your question tc. thus gotta wait and see.

the first game had only 2 required keyitems and enough firepower to bring down the final boss (which wasnt much)

and that is the culprit for telling how "fast" you can finish this game.
