Can't say I've ever had to pay tax on a game (in Ireland), if a game is listed for 29.99 euro that's exactly what gets taken out of my bank account

Americans get taxed by a certain amount depending on state etc they live in, UK etc don't have to worry about that as it's included in the price.

but yeah kinda wish I could preorder

atleast here, you pay for the game (for instance 29.99) and then when you go to purchase the game, if you look over the info it says "Final price" with a tax from what iv seen between $2.00 and $2.57

Yeah we don't have that, even in our stores, the price on the tag is exactly what you pay and as the smartass above said our tax is included in the price and it applies to online shopping too except for shipping and import fees

The main reason I'm baffled is that you (US) end up paying more regardless when you consider currency exchange, it's like your price is rounded up and then the tax is added
