wet and cold in cabin?

hey guys was wondering if its a bug inside the cabin when it rains, that i am still getting rained on. Also what tips are good to stay warm inside the cabin during the winter? thought i was prepared but apparently not, even with the winter jacket still cold and wet when it rains or winter time.

I'm having the same issue, I take two steps from my fire inside my cabin and I get cold and wet, also one corner of the lean to section of my build has snow on it inside, I've tried repairing but that does nothing so no idea what the issue is.

The external noises should also be quieter when you enter your house. Nothing currently gives you the feeling you are in a room

You have to go into a structure which has a ceiling one-log high...no vaulted ceilings, for example. At least I believe that's the detail that makes it work. it can even have windows and no door, but your cold and wet will go away instantly when you enter, with no fire. In my house, that's how it works.

The winter jacket is a different issue, i've read that it doesn't work at the moment. However, i don't even have the winter jacket, and when i go into my house, my cold and wet goes away. And again, with no fire either.

making a fire inside makes no difference, maybe you are missing a roof section? if it's not totally enclosed ceiling you will feel the cold.

Regarding winter the game is pathetic .. best imo .. to disable effects from cold by doing a Custom game .. having the Winter Jacket from my experience does NOTHING ... some say creepy armor helps .. problem is even when you disable cold effects the cold still knocks down your stamina AND you still get the blurred screen thing .. .

also put it on long days so you don't have to drink a gallon of water and act like your at an all you can eat buffet all day long because food you eat does not last.
