No way to free build for tree houses?

I just want to add more floor space and walls to the four way tree platform. But to do so requires using a log to start. Problem is you cannot carry logs up ropes. So HTF do you free build walls/floors/ceilings for tree platforms without massive resource dumping into ramps?

While this isn't much of a solution per your request you could just make some wood scaffolding making the ramps no wider than one log. Should save a lot of resources.

Yeah just make a 1 log wide scaffold, cannibals cant climb it either, also you can make a zipline, logs can travel upwards it

at least you can expand the platform and build on it, the first games tree platforms were so small and you couldnt expand them

Use the rope gun, add logs to the rope and they will travel to where you want them. Also, building a half log high wall, you can jump and throw logs onto the platform.
