Got lost while exploring, lost my home- tips?
So, I was tryna take it easy, explore a bit, etc. Well, I go out to a cave a bit of a ways off, and leave some prefabs unbuilt and tell kelvin to finish them. Well, that isn't a feature, as it turns out. I get out of the cave a different spot from where I entered, Kelvin is, of course, waiting for me. As such, one structure he was MEANT to finish was, of all things, a bed. Sadly, now, I have lost my place and home and have spent 2 days straight trying to find it.

Yes, I know, I can make a new home with time and effort, but that wasn't just a house, IT WAS A HOME. As in, all my loot was there so I can get more food and arrows, etc. whilst I was away, and I'd rather NOT have to rebuild the entire thing, and re-loot everything over again. Roughly 20ish in-game days of loot.

Any tips on how to find it? Maybe a mod or a debug console trick, even?
Thanks <3

EDIT: May I also add, that having "Gather Sticks 20/11" in the corner, amongst 2 other things is actually really annoying

At first, I had. Or so I thought. Issue is the water I built near isnt on the GPS at all cuz its so small. Ignoring the fact that I can't find the home anymore to begin with, All I know was it was on a cliff edge. No trails, no camps, no streams or anything. I learned a little too late that I can put a stick in the ground and put a marker on it. Plus I expected Kelvin to finish the bed, which should have left a location marker regardless. But you are right~ I 100% should have memorized the terrain and such. But I didnt expect to wind up in the spot that I did lmao!
one tarp and one stick is all it takes to make a home marker on your gps

Ironically, I had one set up, but as I was leaving, I took the tarp down cuz I expected my treehouse-hating companion to finish the bed, and if I got stuck caught at night, itd help to have a spare tarp. I wasn't thinking as I took it that I'd have multiple tarps :theskull:
