Yeah I had this idea too earlier. I tried guiding her slowly and she followed me for a bit but then keeps turning around and leaves again. Now she doesn't even follow me anymore when I am nearby. Something just feels so off, it's been... idk around 10 ingame days or so since she started not leaving that area.
She is full affinity with me too just in case that matters.
She was chilling near a cave she followed me to across the map. She seemed to have no interest in coming back to my base after herself. I went up that way to get the shovel and went to her and used the inventory trick to get her to follow me back a good distance to my base again.
I also have some tents set up for save points around the map and not sure if her ai might think those are home too because she was chilling near one.
Yep same, she was on the beach for me just out of draw distance and didnt follow me back for a week, then I gave her the camo outfit and she started follow me back to my base. I locked her in now, shes good base defense lol. I treat her well, she can sit and lay down and I let her stand in my crop plots eating the dirt.
