that Individual setting, where you could set it to "NO ENEMIES" means only, that your base will not beeing attacked, everything else is the same ...
so you could set all other settings to the one, which makes the game easier ...
I changed my game from normal, which was a nightmare after day 20 , waves after waves attacked my base and in the wood I was chased from 4-7 apes ...
even , when I changed to that NO ENEMIES, low damage etc. there are still a lot of enemies around , of course now I am able to kill most of them after 2-3 hits, but there are still a lot here ... apart your base, will be enemy free :-)
Could be because I changed it after day 20, but as I said, since that change , no enemies at my home base and beeing able to kill all others with 2-3 hits ... at normal settings, I needed 3-10 hits to kill some and was most of the time near death ...
There are no enemies at all in that mode. None in camps. None in caves. I think sharks are the only exception, they still might be around the floating life raft.
I'll never use that mode, so I'll never know for myself.
the sluggys are simple scripted blockers for cave paths. they cannot attack you at all. and 1 explosive or grenade kills them. they cannot even move.
sharks count as animals so these will spawn regardless. but aside the liferaft encounter there is no sharks to worry about anywhere.
You can still die by environmental threats though.
Also, you may encounter a specific mutant in the caves, but it can't hurt you if you don't come too close.
