Defense wall - Ground Spikes
I want to build ground spikes in front of my defense wall to protect it.
Is this possible? And if yes - how?
I mean that crooked spikes in front of a wall to impale the mutants before they crash down the wall.

Yes, put sticks in ground and use the axe on them, its best to stick them behind your walls and then use the axe as it will push them forward and clip through the wall so the spikes will work

As I recall, from The Forest, these were sticks, placed among rocks, placed at the bases of the walls around our bases. Have you tried placing rocks at the base of your walls and the placing sticks around those rocks?

nice. thanks. is it also possible with logs? Does it help a lot - anyone here with experience if this is useful or not?

They can sometimes jump over the spikes if the fast, but if they bump into them, it kills them.

I remember there was a YT video for this where someone build that spikes also with logs... but i Cant find the Video anymore.
That person build crooked spikes with sticks and also with logs.
Perhaps anyone know that video or can describe how to protect the walls also with log spikes.

Make 2 rows of sharp spikes around the base. Distance between rows must be no less than length of a wooden stick - that makes them almost impossible to jump over both rows. For complete perfection add 3rd row - then no one get past them. To leave safe path for yourself, look for place with large stone/rock - some smarter cannibals might also use it, but only few. Your companions are immune and can walk over spikes unharmed.

||||| -> -> -> Silly scheme, but that about it.

Yep. Just need more spikes in one circle. distances between spikes has to be short, between rings (circles) - longer.

My distances between inner and outer ring are not wide enough. They can jump over from sprint.
