Cave is terrifying and too difficult

I play on normal difficulty and personally terrified of caves, took me a long time to decide to went in one, clear all enemies and thought it was like enemies not respawning in The Forest, only to found 3 more fingers spawn in front of me while cutting creepy armor.

The max records I have is encounter 12 fingers at once and 4 twins body mutants along with 4 faceless mutant, scare the ♥♥♥♥ out of me and used up all my resources, still can't get out alive.

I wish at least we can bring Virginia or Kelvin in cave, the spawning and amounts of enemies make me feel like the game was actually developed with multi-player in mind but not for single player guy like me.

you do not have to kill all enemies in the caves you can bolt pass them, If you see loot then it's time to kill !

Tried it, but as soon as I turn my head around, a mutant suddenly respawn from a dark corner that's very near me.

Last I decide to lit up all the room and set up traps in caves and conquer it slowly

Ive not seen any mutants "respawning" in caves that I am still in. Ive not gone back to see if they respawn with enough time however.

Are you sure you just didnt see them/they were further back in the cave?

Definitely not, because my armor were gone result from fighting, so I cut each of the mutant corpses on the spot only to get attack by more that slowly coming out from a dark place.

It is! Out of grenade, molotov and all my armor too (20 pieces creepy armor including 10 in bag), being cornered is simply nightmare and didn't even try to struggle

Use a spear and hit the fingers in the knee caps will push them to the ground make em easy to kill. Use bombs on twins .

You can clear caves. Enemies do not respawn. There are just a lot in some and they are sneaky at times.

Haha yea, felt good walking outta those ♥♥♥♥ holes though. The rebreather and stun cost me everything.
