I was skimming through the forums, and see that the devs decided to listen to the "girls are icky!" crowd again. Okay, good to know. It's their game, they can do what they want. I guess I'll spend my money elsewhere then.

Yeah I'm surprised that the devs didnt implement female playable characters since there was a demand for it for the first game. However, I think it's silly to not consider a game just because you can't play as a girl. But it is your choice and your money.

i would love some female characters to play as, or just for my friends to play as,, or maybe just a character customization option before starting the game. i know that people look different when playing multiplayer. so why not let us make our characters

I feel the same issue. I dislike men characters to play as a girl. And i guess men would like to play a girl character too ...we all know the reasons. I dislike the woman-hater-gamer-community mirroring in some of the comments. It exists. If some of you are frustrated about women: We... girls can understand but don't care.

It already was a heated discussion in 2014. For the same reason:
Kids on the internet. And the incels.

The same people, by the way, complained also when they realized the Satisfactory main character is female.

They want to have something to be proud of in life, and for some reason carrying 2 logs in a video game is the thing they chose to pick. *shrug*

That is your decision. In this day, and age I didn't think this was still an issue since people today don't even know which sex they belong too.

Soon we will have people asking the developer why they don't have people who identify with a pencil not being represented as a choice.

There are many games I have which only have females as the main character, and I still play the game.

It is your money OP so do with it as you please but if you think you standing on top of your high horse because you think you have been wronged you can send off a report to Valve explaining the situation, and how this dev is treating you because you don't have a choice of characters to play.
