Here's an online guide to find the folders you need.

If the save you want to send is a singleplayer save then you go into the singleplayer folder and right click the folder that matches the date and time of the save you want to send and copy it then just send it to your friend. Do the same thing if your save is in the multiplayer folder. The person you send the save folder to just needs to paste it into either their singleplayer or multiplayer folder and they'll be able to use it.
