How do you remove flippers?
I can find where to remove them

Open the inventory, look down in the very bottom right, and equip the Tactical Jacket. That will remove the Wetsuit.

The flippers are part of the wet suit. You have to equip a different outfit to remove them. The diving equipment (rebreather) on the other hand is gear which can be unequipped by looking at the very right in the inventory and right clicking it.

Open your inventory, look around for them then click them off.
