TURTLE EGGS?

How often do they spawn? Sat waiting near turtles for so long!!!

seems like they only lay eggs in spring

Turtles lay them on the ground. Its a white pile of eggs, it really stands out, cant miss it.

What I did was make a shelter on a beach (I used the beach next to the life boat with a gps locator).
Sleep till morning.
After a couple of minutes turtles start swimming from the ocean (for me there was one, max two turtles coming).
Hang around it and wait for it to lay eggs (1-2 minutes)

yes, you find eggs on beach where the life raft is. Thats the only place Ive found eggs ... Tough in multiplayer I got the eggs while my "Guest" didnt see the eggs ...

Thanks mate! I found dead turtles on the beach in the west, so I dug holes. A LOT OF HOLES. Now I can stop. ♥
