Creepy armor doesn't reduce stealth, it just doesn't provide any benefit to stealth, it's the same as wearing no armor at all. The only armor that increases stealth are leaf armor and deer armor. Leaf armor is twice as effective as deer armor.

well first, talking about someone necroing an old thread really doesn't help with the entire necro thing. second, the dude who made this thread is whining that an early access game is incomplete, so obviously people who genuinely enjoy the game are going to comment on it. also most of the sons of the forest threads really aren't that different from each other so take that as you will

Do you know why people used to consider bad to "necro" threads in old 2000s forums? Because webmasters and forum admins would rather archive old threads and not have to pay upkeep for it. So they encouraged this as "good practice", and people just jump on it without actually knowing why or having any thought of their own.

There is literally ZERO logic for people crying about "thread necro" on Steam boards. It's not like Gaben will run out of server space.

Has it ever occurred to anyone that these threads are not being looked up 50 pages deep, but rather people playing the game will come across issues at the present time, Google search for it, and find this as a result and post on it? And that the threads "doesn't belong" to the original posters who were talking about something 10 years ago, but to anyone who has an active interest in discussing it at any given time, now or 10 years in the future?

If old users are bothered by it, there's a clear "unsubscribe from discussion" button right there, I suggest they use it instead of crying with no logic about something that isn't a problem. Now THAT is "Karen" behaviour (also funny talking about 'Karen' whenever you see a complaint about anything whatsoever in life, 2019 called and asked for its unfunny jokes back).

i really don't care about thread necro, i was just making a joke at this guy's expense cuz he sounds like the biggest nerd on earth to be complaining about thread necro even though technically complaining about thread necro in the thread isn't helping the situation at all. also you misread the quote and what my actual response was, the other response is the one you need to tear into, not mine

Easy to take off armour. Build an armour stand walk up to it and deposit your armour on it. Simple. The people telling you to get hit to remove it probably don't even know you can build armour stands. So much disinformation on this board sometimes...

this was started literally the update previous to the one that added armor stands, OP literally couldn't wait a few days before refunding an early access game to see if the new update fixes the bug he had a problem with because of the sake of fashion
