No hole-cutter tool? Can't delete building?
I wanted to make my main save file multiplayer, so I can set up bases and have a better time helping new players as they come and go.

I wanted to move a hunting shelter that a friend built, since it was floating in the air and it bothers me how it looks silly... but I can't seem to delete it... in my own server?

Holding C does nothing, even with a building blueprint selected, or while holding a log. Turning building destruction back on still does not let me destroy it.

Can I really not delete or manage what other people build on my own server?

You can cut holes in floors. When you are on a floor with your axe in hand you will see a red outline. Press the mouse button and he will chop out that portion of the floor. You can use this as the previous 'hole in floor' building piece.

Don't believe you can cut your own holes in the buildings you get out of the book.
Try tossing a bomb at it...

Ah the prefabs? Probably not. Though someone showed a build here where half was pre-fab and half was custom.

Won't the transparent unfinished part of the build stay there? Seems kind of pointless lol

To be honest I've only used 1 tree house pre-fab in the game so far. And I never finished it. So I don't know. I've been primarily using the free build system.

Yes I turned building-destruction back on, and it was still indestructible.

I don't know if bombs would work but seems a bit resource heavy for me just wanting to edit the layout of structures...

I just built a new hunting shelter beside this one - and I can't delete that one either? What gives?

Seems like an oversight by the devs. Can only pray for a hotfix instead of waiting for the next update 10+ days away.

You can destroy the pre-fabs with X. It should show you that when you look at the pre-fab. It is easy to miss but it is there. There is a trash can and the letter X next to it. Hold X and the trash can will fill from left to right and then your structure will be deleted. Unless of course it is bugged which is quite possible.

Yah I'm not sure what's going on lol. Just me over here getting angry at this ugly floating shelter. I'm having a friend test right now if he can delete ANY hunting shelters (on his server), as it seems I cannot? :zombieBall:

The only time I have seen the trash can 'x' icon is on blueprints, I do not see it on any completed structures. I tried it anyway, and it did nothing.

Oh I must have missed something. This is a completed structure? Ah ok. It is glitched then. Hmm. Try to bomb it. Find some grenades and see if you can land some on it.

Okay so after restarting the game again, turning building destruction off then back on, I was able to axe it down. Just some weird early access behavior I guess; floating shelter is no more.
