kelvin not working

My kelvin is not following commands. i asked him to get me some logs and he is just sitting at the base. does anyone encountered this problem?

Yes I have. Where are you? I was near the ocean shore and he just stood there. My guess is he could not see any way to get logs near him. I don't know what his 'range' is.

Yeah, in my game he was picking up sticks, then went into the water and now he can't get out he is stuck... Any ideas would be great!

near the ocean too. the problem started after i got the shotgun. he was working fine at my first base but he stopped working now.. and virginia is missing. i checked the files and she is still alive lmao,

got the problem too, kelvin is not following me and he stood only or sleeping there, other commands he make it great but the only problem is that he doesn’t following me

Well he does have brain damage. Probably why the devs put it into the story. B/c he is really dumb.

he is on a mountain and have his small „area“ where he is moving, he making everything what i say him but hes don’t following me or my mates

UPDATE: Kelvin is fixed, he is working now and i found Virginia by the shores need my crash site and i gave her my pistol and put a tracking device on her but she's just walking around in the area and not defending my base.

For me, Kelvin was following me great -- up until I ventured into the mountains. Then both him & Virginia won't go near me.

my kelvin just stopped showing the icon to interact. Literally just told him to take a break, went to sleep myself then the next morning i cant interact with him

Yup, same just happened to me. Tried leaving the area. sleeping. relogging. but he just shakes his head "no" when ever I try to interact with him...clearly hates me and based on how many logs I had him gathering for me, I understand haha.

I find randomly that he does this. No matter how rested, or no matter what shape he is in injury wise. Kelvin is a special kind of special at times. He just gives you that no one is home look and tilts his head, nods and goes back to stupid. Ahhhh Kelvin, he has me smitten, even more so when he smile at me.

At least he can feed himself and gets me loads of fish. He's so good at fishing the man needs to enter a Bass fishing contest.

Completely exiting the game and restarting resolved the no commands and no follow issues for me.

Not saying this is your issue but Kelvin does actually have an energy stat. When this stat gets low he goes to rest. Though I'm sure there's still bugs going on with him.
