GPS and crafting book texture blurry

The gps screen and the book text and icons are blurry like in a low resolution image, i don't know how to fix it, tried verifying files and reinstalling the game.

I am having the same issue, the graphics are great and I'm running everything on high and the game runs great but when I try to use the build guide all the icons are blurry beyond recognition, and picking up pages in the game I cannot read them.

Its all on Ultra settings, but the book and gps still blurry, already tried changing the graphic settings from low to high and still doesnt work

Hi my dude. I think i got you there. Go to

Graphics->Quality->Texture Resolution-> change to Full

i assume if you try to change your graphics settings from low to high this remains on low. Hope it works for you and the rest with the same Problem.

Hi, I'm experiencing the same issue. The game looks amazing but the text in the notebook and the GPS is all very distorted and low res. The texture resolution is set to Full for me as well. Might there be some setting that needs to be changed in the .ini file?

Texture Resolution on Full
Anti Aliasing on TAA
Dynamic Resolution on OFF

It worked for me thanks but please keep in mind if its the blur on the GPS/Phone map it fixes it but not if you hold the shotty or anything else that brings the GPS aka phone map closer to your persons FOV P.s same blur will happen if the GPS is to far from character.

This is great - I see the time easily on the GPS ...

My Anti Aliasing is on TAA
Texture Resolution on Ultra ...... this is the only difference ..
Dynamic Resolution is OFF

and I changed it in game no biggy

I loaded a save from a few days ago I boiled water and let my pot somewhere now I'm thirsty but have to go find it .. .

finally my brain reminded me that when a pot is left on a fire and the game is saved that more then likely the pot disappears as loose logs do etc. so quite looking for it dufus... Fortunately I know where at least 3 pots are located woo hooo

The Texture Resolution change is not needed, but the other 2 were (at least for me).
