can virginia die by cannibals?

Hello there, im aware that the player can kill virginia, but can she die by a cannibal attack? Do i have to watch out for her when she is around? Thanks :)

From my experience it seems she cannot get killed by them. They can attack her and down her, but I believe she can only permanently die if a player attacks her while she's downed. Same for kelvin.

When virginia feels comfortable being around you, i.e., don't attack her, she will bring you stuff, like herbs.

I havent seen her for a few hours. im kinda worried she died without me knowing it...

Well i googled a little, and it turns out that you can check the save files if kelvin and virginia are that or not and change the values. But my save says that she is still alive :)

I'm afraid this has happened to me. I dont recall her being downed, but i wonder if she was downed without me knowing and shes out there somewhere. what do you look for specifically in the save files?

I've heard that cannibals can kill both Kelvin and Virgina, but only if the player kills them is the death permanent.
