CANNOT DIE FROM HUNGER AND THIRST

Its a shame u cant die from hunger and thirst on noromal and hard modes its the basics of survive game . i started 3 games and didnt know its off by default ... needed to make custom game..first forest was mutch harder atlist it was a survival game .. why u need seasons if u dont need to survive :(

yeh same with sleep. you can run around for days without any problems. in my eyes they should lower the rate of consumption and then add debuffs (not only stamina) or even health damage.

Its just a stamina restriction. I think its taken slightly from Valheim.

You need to enable it in custom difficulty before you start a game. You can enable Starvation/Dehydration damage. Also how much food/drink affects you. Its on the bottom of the list

It's not as if enabling those options would change anything, the survival elements are purely cosmetic. There is water and food everywhere and all loot respawns in just a few minutes. Even with some casual exploration you'll have your backpack full of rations and supplies in no time.

survival with survival switched of by default.

just wasted 2 days of my life ensuring i have food n my base is safe enough so that i can start growing food, for what? lol

The forest 1 was set to starve by default, why would anyone think that in the default survival of part 2 they removed the survival of survival..

let alone to actually play survival you have to play a custom game, it should be the other way around, the survival game should have survival by default and you custom out ..survival.

bet my bottom dollar anyone that sat down to play was under the impression that you'd actually have to er, 'survive' :P

they shoulda gone a step further n just made all the cannibals your chums.

Even tho you can toggle damage on, I would have to agree Its very easy. I switched to hard and i still don't feel like there is any challenge in the survival aspect. whole game feels easier.
