Why so Dark with a full moon, no stars?
Before you say " well dude night is dark man" I have spent many nights in the wilderness and know what the night is like between new and full moons etc.

The first night in the game I assumed it was a cloudy night or something like that, then I saw the moon in the sky, why no stars?

Currently the nights in SOTF are way too dark, I assume this is because the game is not fully flushed out yet, but I hope in the future the night darkness will be tied to moon cycles and it wont always be unnaturally pitch black all the time.

Because nobody at Endnight knows how to change the Intensity/Distance settings on their Unity Point Lights.

have you ever been outside the city at night?

It's actually kinda too bright even in this game, even with the eye adaptation you shouldnt be able to se that well in the dark

It's definitely too dark at times. The difference between new moon in a dense forest compared to a full moon in a clearing with a nearby body of water is, well, night and day. Also snow should make the nights considerably brighter when it is not cloudy.

Also very bothered by the lack of stars.

I just turn up the gamma via windows. Go into 'calibrate display color', makes night time day time pretty much. (type in the bottom left search bar on your taskbar, should pop up)

I live way out in the country, and when it’s around full moon it’s so bright that we can wander around without any artificial lights at all. Especially on a cloudless night. Granted, it does get really dark around new moon.

Yeah, this is so bizarre for me. Playing Valheim one of the coolest things is the night sky. Here, we're in a void. Because there seems to be some sort of "alternate dimensions" implied by some of the items I've found I figured maybe we're now in a pocket dimension and that explains the darkness? I hope it's just the devs just don't haven't gotten around to coding a night sky (although if that's the case jeez, WTH?)

Basically, there's no good reason why there shouldn't be stars at night.
