How do I get her? Every-time she shows up she just runs away.

Whenever I saw her, I would put away my axe or weapon and just stand still. After a few times of her showing up then running away, she eventually stuck around camp and sat by the fire and stopped running when I got close to her.

It take time, she runs away a few times, especially when you fight cannibals but with the time she'll get used to it. You have to watch out tho, hitting her has a bad infulence.
I think putting away weapons also helps but it worked for me with weapons in my hand.

Same happened with me. At one point she signaled me to follow her and instead of running she started jogging and even waited for me to catch up. We ended up running into a pack of cannibals and she sprinted in the other direction but I wonder where she was going. She now sits in my base at the campfire and walks around in her bathing suit, during the winter.

Pretty much what Spartacus said.

Whe she shows up and approaches you, just put your stuff away and wait. She'll run and come back later to the same again. After a couple of times you'll see her get more comfortable and sleep at your campfire. And then at some point she'll want to give you something. Once you pick up what she gives you, you'll be able to customise her to give her a weapon/clothes/tracker.

She will start to hang around. don't approach her, let her come to you, like a cat, after some time she will start to bring gifts, like small animals/berries, after you accept the gift she will start to just hang around you, you don't really need to anything but wait and not attack her.

basically you have to advance tech-wise. when i started building an actual home she started showing up much more constantly and when she finally came up and "coo"ed at me she was tamed.
