anyone know how long the seasons are in realistic length setting?

in the custom setting there is a realistic seasons length option how long is it?

1 in game minute equals 4 real time seconds? That means an in game hour goes by 4 minutes and a day is equal to 96 minutes. If true that's much preferable to the original Forest where an in game day was 36 minutes. In that game it felt like I had no time left to do anything besides hunt for food. I'm used to open world single player games where I can take my time, so having a longer day is a nice thing.

Correct me if I'm wrong. I was going to start a separate thread asking about the length of the days compared to the original as I found I had to reduce time progression by 50% using the console in the original to even remotely enjoy the game.

what season did you start at?

Realistic is 90 days per season :) so if you start on Spring you would not see Winter until day 271.

Also I think realistic days are bugged cause I counted 36 minutes for full daylight on realistic setting :(

man wish there was something in between 10 and 90 maybe like 20 or 30 days per season or let us choose

are you using the realistic season mode? i’m trying to figure out season length for the realistic option.

i beleive that 365 ingame days is a full year on realistic, i'd have to test long, medium, ect to see exact numbers for those. I do know default settings is like 4-8 ingame days for a season it, also might be random.

This post was started in February. I don't think realistic is an option any more. I started a custom game and don't remember seeing it. I chose long seasons and long days. Hoping long seasons aren't more than 10 in game days because I am sick of winter.
