Choosing the character you play

Is there anyway you can play a different character other than the generic white guy? Shouldn't there be/is there a system to choose race/character you play as? Its really annoyin playing as a white guy in every video game ever.

Youre the son of a white guy from the last game. If it annoys you so much, refund and play Forspoken then.

Oh, if you live in a majority white country dont go outside, you might get triggered by the melanin content.

Why can't developers just make the game THEY want to make without everyone forcing their own ideas into it? Seriously go make your own game. There are tons of games being made by 1 - 2 people. Even if they did add what you wanted it wouldn't be enough. Next you'd want to be able to customise them and change their hair and beard and eye color and blah blah. Not every game needs all that.

this implies that the only thing wrong with forspoken was skin color and not the fact it was pandering to corporate liberalism. Its a genuinely bad game, and if you cant see the fact that their is more than one skin color, or type of person thats different that a generic white guy, that causes you to get a temper tantrum at someone suggesting for choosing literal race. You have a genuine problem. And ISTG if you say "oh ur triggered" its just embarrassing to explain ethics to a person with the mentality of a racist 5 year old.

i also think every movie and tvshows char should magically have your skin tone.

i literally just want to choose a person with the same race as me. They already have the models in the game so the developers did add it to the game so it isn't changing anything.

You do realize a game, a thing you play, is more immersive than a movie? And if the developers wanted to make the game as immersive as possible it would be nice to choose skin color. Also theres more than 1 movie in a genre. You cant ask me to make a game thats doing just fine and would be better for me if I could choose the premade skins in the game.
