The arrow will fly at a trajectory so a static aiming reticle wouldn't work and you'd need some immersion breaking laser guidance. Same for the spear.

Just learn how to use a bow, they're not difficult to get he grips of. Just do a search for, "how to aim a bow", online.

Exactly. Its kinda hard to aim but you dont even need to, just run up to cannibals and stun lock them from 3m away.

I get it, it's just unintuitive. I've played plenty of games with a bow, without a reticle, and was a crack shot. I don't think it's fun to have to miss a target a bunch of times, until you trick your brain into knowing where it's going to go, without actually aiming.

Good point. I'm in total agreement now. Especially when the spear is a more powerful weapon. They have a laser guidance system for throwing stones as well.

They ought to just add it in for the bow as well. The aiming lines they have for the spear throwing.

They're really not very immersion breaking. What's immersion breaking is not being able to aim it properly.

they give you paper targets you can put on trees to practice using the bow. I practiced for like 5 minutes, now I can headshot dudes from 30 feet away (which is basically the max range of the bow, which is the real reason it sucks)

the aim is way off, many of you try to act its ok, have you aimed on paper target yet, and test the aim at different distances? if not then you and the rest of you that try to act like its all good... its clearly not
