How to equip arrows

I have 3D printed arrows and i have been trying to use the crafted bow to fire them but it will not load them into the bow. PLZ help. I wanna hunt

You can switch arrow types by having the bow equiped, then look at the ground, then you will see a prompt to switch ammo type on the bottom of the screen, which is I believe "R" (reload key).

look down and hit 'R' when bow is equipped

Just to add also that it works the same way to switch between ammo types for the shotgun.
