So true, i learned today that a sequel is the same game but with lesser features.
totally understand if not peoples cup of tea but man i think its done some cool things
Slight graphic improvement - still not amazing graphics by any means though.
Slightly improved building - maybe? maybe not.
Slightly more weapons - not really necessary best thing ive seen is a shotgun but again not exactly game changing
Similar story premise - Very lazy
Similar AI - nothing game changing here
New mutant enemies - but they removed some of the original enemies why?
Bigger map - doesn't really change anything i felt the OG map was big enough
Better animations and crafting animations - looks nice but its not game changing
That said i think if you have never played the original forest then this is probably a good buy.
And clearly you have no ide how different the AI is either, so no, I dont think you have seen aything SOTF offers
We aren't missing many old features and I could see them and new ones making a return in the future. Some ♥♥♥♥ still seems very dumbed down such as us no longer needing to boil water and the game letting me eat raw meat without a need to cook. I'm still uncertain of if our character can even get sick from blood or has any use for the herbs we can collect.
You haven't even played the game lol, Everything hes saying is true, the game is a SLIGHTLY graphically improved Forest with seasons and a bigger map. Story is the same, enemies the same, they say the behavior changed but it hasn't, they just attack you based on what key items you have unlocked, none of this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ learning ai has been happening, we even tried to NOT execute or kill any enemies all game and no change, still the same raids. Y
Are you delusional?
Several days in-game and my group has had no violent encounters with the cannibal camps. They fought off the ferals with us.
Anyone who says the AI isn't any different is either a murderhobo or not paying attention.
Idk, I think it'll end up really good when it comes out of EA.
Played a whole lot of the previous game and this game has much better cannibal AI.
