Bug with book

We've had a few people run into issues with the book getting stuck open, unable to swap anything, unable to interact, unable to open the inventory, anything. I had to jump into water and swim, which unbroke me without me logging out.
The host, however, would sim - then be able to move for a few moments, and then would completely lock up. So to fix it the host had to log out. This meant we all had to log out.

I saw no command line interface to reset us, death didn't free us, so I'm really kind of lost. We saw no common issue that we were doing to glitch it, and I'm not sure if it was maybe trying to change mode (would love that changed to something that made more sense), or maybe trying to swap to the weapon or inventory... but both of us locked up at different times. We couldn't repeat it on purpose, just had two incidents in an hour.

If you are the host, then you are in trouble. If you are NOT the host - jump into some water, it will let you swim. That should reset you.

I suppose if you are the host, maybe someone can build a shelter close enough to let you save while swimming... and then they can relog..

i have an issue where i try to open my build book and switch to the old mode.. but when i click on an other tab on the side of the book it takes out my gps instead.
i have tried to switch keyboards to se if one of my buttons where broken but it was not that..
ive tried to uninstall and install again but to no use..

anyone knows a fix?

I can think of multiple key functions assigned to a single key, so you might want to check all of your key assignments in controls options tab.

Besides: Make sure the switch book key (usually X I think) is set and not assigned to any other function.
