Sons of the forest crashes with an error (unity 2022.2.3f1_55531d7fa82e) HELP!!!!!

After loggin into sons of the forest,it crashes after a few minutes

hi iv got the same issue iv looked at my crash log it says something about a application error faulting application start time and faulting application path and module path hope this sort of helps if your still stuck

Do you have windows 11?

I don't know what your issue really is but often I find conflict with multiple sound drivers and 3rd party sound enhancements conflicting to be an issue on new beta games. /shrugs

I am having this issue too, has anyone found a solution?
Ive even done a full reboot today and went back to windows 10, didnt do the trick.
Not managing to play more then 5 minutes

I did try doing the forced DX11 command line arguments which seemed to make it run a tiny bit smoother and give me an extra couple of minutes, but no, I'm still having the same issue where it crashes within about five minutes.

Make sure you add the command line argument "--backtrace" so that it sends the crash report to the developer. Hopefully this will help them get it patched sooner rather than later.

Here's to hoping that the patch coming in two days time may resolve this.
